Final Track Project

Final track Description

My track, titled Final Track Project, is a fusion of electronic, hip hop and pop influences, creating a unique experience that blends catchy melodies with punchy and low bass. Inspire by artist like Lil Jon, and the 80s Zapp Band, I aimed to capture a sense of reflection and reminiscence while filling it with modern production. This piece serves as a reflection of my personal growth and my journey of discovering myself. With its moderate beat tempo and ear grabbing melodies, its perfect for both chilling out at home and hitting the dance floor.

In terms of rhythm and bass, my track takes on a 4/4 meter with a groovy bassline and nice drum patterns. The bass track features a spicy synth tone and sharp driven bass sounds,
providing a solid foundation for the rest of the tracks. The rhythm track is a nice mixture of electronic and acoustic percussion, creating a modern groove that drives the song.

My final Track Project is composed in the key of C Major and Am, with the harmony centered around rich chords and a touch of modulation that adds depth to the melody. The melody played by a synth glide above the harmony, seamlessly moving through the song with a head bobbing flow. The production of the melody highlights clarity and appearance, ensuring that it grabs attention on the track.

The audio tracks were recorded using high quality microphones and preamps to get the best raw sound possible. Synthesized tracks were created using software synthesizers, including the ES2 and Retro Synth, which provided a wide range of possibilities. The sampler track incorporated a sampled sound from one of my radio station liners adding a subtle 80s kind of groove. Each track was created to complement each other, resulting in a pleasurable listening experience.

For processing I utilized a combination of dynamic and time- based effects to shape the sound and create a sense of space and depth. The bass, vocal and audio tracks were treated with compression and EQ to tighten up the low end and enhance the overall mix. I used delay and reverb effects and add space to the song. These processing techniques were chosen to intensify the moving impact of the music and create a more interesting listening experience for the listener.
