Abelton Live Composition
Project Description

For this project, I was tasked with creating an original, three-minute song for Atlantis, Paradise Island, the world’s premier travel destination. The objective was to evoke a sense of freedom, relaxation, and anticipation, allowing listeners to feel the vacation experience before setting foot on the island.
Creative Process

To capture the essence of Atlantis and the feeling of escape, I composed the song in [insert key], selecting this key for its [explain emotional quality, e.g., uplifting, relaxing, or adventurous tones]. The genre chosen was [insert genre, e.g., tropical house, chillwave, or acoustic pop], as it perfectly aligns with the beachy, carefree vibes associated with the destination.
The song follows a structured format, incorporating distinct sections: an intro, verse, chorus, bridge, and outro. Each section features variations to maintain listener interest while reinforcing the central theme of freedom and joy.

The final track is a vibrant and engaging piece that conveys a sense of freedom and relaxation. It not only meets but exceeds the assignment’s goals by combining technical proficiency with emotional resonance, resulting in a song that invites listeners to imagine themselves already on the sands of Atlantis.
